Ascade, a vendor of Billing, Routing and Quality solutions for the Interconnect market today announced an extended co-operation with T-Hrvatski Telekom, the leading telecommunication carrier of Croatia, for deployment of Carrier Cockpit(TM) Quality Management Solutions.
Hrvatski Telekom has already in live operation the Routing & Trading part of the Carrier Cockpit(TM) Suite. The extended co-operation enables T-Hrvatski Telekom to include advanced and pro-active quality measurements as an integrated part of the daily decisions around buying, routing, pricing and selling of international voice minutes.
"Delivering expected quality levels is of great importance for us for all our customer segments. We take pride in serving our demanding retail customers as well as our customers on the wholesale market with reliable and consistent high quality services. At the same time we embrace the trend for possibilities around an increased number of suppliers and number of daily re-routes to reduce the cost level - as long as we can guarantee the quality delivered", says Ljubinka Loncaric, Head of International Voice.
Ascade's Test Calling Solution (TCS) is a powerful system adding value for commercial routing and trading departments, technical network departments as well as for internal and external help desks. It enables a full range of advanced test call capabilities, and can validate the quality of routing schemas with minimum effort and time.
The CLI Verification Service enables pro-active end-to-end testing of CLI-delivery all the way to the end subscriber covering close to 200 mobile networks in more than 50 countries all over the world. This unique distributed end-subscriber Global Test Network (GTN(TM)) for mobile services is developed and managed by Ascade and is constantly built out in close dialogue with Ascade's existing CLI customers.
"With the TCS system and CLI verification Service from Ascade we have developed our ability to work with pro-active quality measurements on both existing suppliers as well as on prospect suppliers not yet implemented in the technical routing. This is of great importance for our daily operations and not least for the planning for our peak summer months where traffic patterns change rapidly according to the Holiday season," Ljubinka Loncaric concludes.
"We are pleased to add yet another TCS and CLI customer, the 11th world-wide since the beginning of last year and the fourth in Europe during the last quarter 2007 alone. The demand from leading International Carriers and Mobile Operators is very high and Ascade is well positioned with both stand alone solutions as well as integrated solutions with our world-leading Carrier Cockpit(TM) suite," says Henrik Anderberg, CEO of Ascade.

The FOX system is a full wafer contact test and burn-in system. The MTX system is a massively parallel test system designed to reduce the cost of memory testing by performing both test and burn-in on thousands of devices simultaneously. The MAX system can effectively burn-in and functionally test complex devices, such as digital signal processors, microprocessors, microcontrollers and systems-on-a-chip. The DiePak carrier is a reusable, temporary package that enables IC manufacturers to perform cost-effective final test and burn-in of bare die.
