ClearApp (http://www.clearapp.com/), a provider of comprehensive application service management (ASM) for J2EE-based composite applications, today announced it will host a free webinar with OpenDemand to discuss best practices for mitigating downtime risks associated with application change management throughout the application development lifecycle. The webinar is on April 22, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern time.

The session, entitled "Effective Application Change Management," will discuss how companies can leverage best-in-class load testing, end user monitoring, application service dependency mapping and J2EE component-domain-level health monitoring technologies, to predict application behavior and resolve complex composite application problems quickly -- therefore minimizing costly disruptions.

Rob Greer, VP of marketing at ClearApp, will be joined by an OpenDemand technology expert to discuss the risks associated with making changes to the business logic of applications. Business functions within today's complex composite applications are not easily delineated within the application services.
