Software Test and Performance Conference

The Software Test and Performance Conference and Expo (http://www.stpcon.com/), the industry's leading event for the testing and QA community, will be held at the Marriott Hotel in San Mateo, Calif. March 31 - April 2, 2009. The event will bring together hundreds of software developers, development managers, test/QA managers and senior test professionals for three days filled with more than 60 classes and full day tutorials.

With a theme of "Reach Your Peak Performance," participants will be inspired by keynote speaker Dr. Arlene Blum, a renowned scientist and mountain climber, who will share her stories of the challenges she has faced, successes she has achieved, and lessons of leadership she has learned through her many expeditions. In addition, Hung Q. Nguyen, chairman and CEO of LogiGear Corporation, will present a keynote titled "Learn How To Keep Your Testing Budget."

Attendees of the Software Test and Performance Conference and Expo will discover the latest solutions to the most pressing issues and challenges they face, such as security flaws, usability problems, functional defects, and performance issues. They will learn new ways to implement quality assurance across an entire project, how to pinpoint and fix performance bottlenecks, and how to adopt emerging testing methods to be more efficient and effective.

"We are very proud of this year's STPCon program and faculty," stated Eddie Correia, conference chair. "Our classes provide in-depth training on the newest techniques, and our experienced faculty of test industry experts and practitioners will share valuable tips and insights to help attendees improve fundamental practices such as requirements gathering, user interface design, and function testing, as well as techniques for load and performance testing."
