Interwoven In Asia Move

Interwoven, Inc., (NASDAQ:IWOV) , a global leader in content management solutions, today announced that it is now offering the recently acquired Optimost real-time multivariable testing and Website optimization capabilities to the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The Interwoven Optimost Website optimization solution allows online marketers to get more from their existing customer acquisition and Website investments by maximizing online conversion rates.

As APAC economies continue to experience strong growth, and regional consumers spend increasingly more time online, businesses in the region are investing heavily to transform their online presence. To optimize the impact of each online experience, marketers need to test and target content throughout their online marketing efforts to increase online conversions and customer engagement while managing marketing costs.

The Interwoven Optimost Website optimization solution offers the sophistication, flexibility, and expertise required to help marketers maximize their online investments. The solution identifies the most compelling combination of Web content and design by exposing different combinations of online content elements to different visitors and then measuring visitors' actions.
As part of this announcement, Interwoven also will be growing its network of Interwoven Optimost service specialists, and will be expanding its Interwoven Optimost certification process to APAC interactive marketing firms.

The release of the Interwoven Multivariable Optimization solution, powered by Interwoven Optimost, builds on Interwoven's strong presence in the region with its large installed base of content management customers. Interwoven has helped well-known regional brands create, deliver and optimize content, including companies such as Cathay Pacific Airways, Chunghwa Telecom, ICICI Bank, Hong Kong Trade and Development Council, HFDC Bank, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, and Qantas Airways.

"The tremendous economic growth in our region has significantly increased the number of consumers on the Internet," said Sanjay Aurora, vice president of APAC operations at Interwoven. "We are excited to bring the Interwoven Multivariable Optimization to APAC to help companies unlock the potential of their online strategies. This launch is part of an ongoing campaign to educate companies in the region on how Interwoven can help them leverage the power of the Web to strengthen their brand and drive revenue growth online."

Clearapp Seminar

ClearApp (http://www.clearapp.com/), a provider of comprehensive application service management (ASM) for J2EE-based composite applications, today announced it will host a free webinar with OpenDemand to discuss best practices for mitigating downtime risks associated with application change management throughout the application development lifecycle. The webinar is on April 22, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern time.

The session, entitled "Effective Application Change Management," will discuss how companies can leverage best-in-class load testing, end user monitoring, application service dependency mapping and J2EE component-domain-level health monitoring technologies, to predict application behavior and resolve complex composite application problems quickly -- therefore minimizing costly disruptions.

Rob Greer, VP of marketing at ClearApp, will be joined by an OpenDemand technology expert to discuss the risks associated with making changes to the business logic of applications. Business functions within today's complex composite applications are not easily delineated within the application services. Dependencies between services are typically manually maintained, but almost immediately obsolete since relationships between components are changing constantly. Interested parties can register online

"Many industry analysts will tell you that greater than 50% of all downtime is due to uninformed change -- enterprise portal and SOA applications are not immune to this problem," said Don Doane, CEO, OpenDemand. "In our webinar, ClearApp and OpenDemand will discuss best practices for mitigating downtime risks associated with application change management."

User Experience Design Review

Mauro New Media, a leading provider of user experience design and usability testing services for major corporations world wide, published today its annual User Experience Design Review, covering the major happenings in interactive user experience design for 2007. This year's review presents 5 major user experience design solutions that had important short-term, mid-term, or long-term impact on how users interact with technology across various platforms and industry sectors.

"This was one of the most significant years in recent history for innovations in user experience design," said Charles L. Mauro, President of Mauro New Media. Several UED innovations fundamentally altered the way users will interact with important technology platforms in the future. Most notable was the introduction of the iPhone, which changed the way mobile Telco systems are developed and presented to users. Other notable innovations covered gaming applications, where Guitar Hero and the Nintendo Wii were judged to be fundamentally important user experience design innovations in 2007. Additional selected user experience happenings were the major changes at MTV. Com and the new MTV virtual worlds. Google Docs received kudos, but with interesting reservations.

The annual review also makes note of 3 user experience design programs that were significant missteps in 2007. "We try to bring a broader perspective to the importance of user experience design and its impact on corporate profits and, in certain instances, the broader social implications of technology utilization," said Charles L. Mauro, president of Mauro New Media. This year the annual review makes special note of problems with Wall Street's obsession with algorithm-based risk management systems that in recent years have progressively removed the human component from risk assessment. The review also examines Facebook's Beacon system and why it raised concern with users and the national media. Finally, in a new section of the annual review, the authors ask 3 critical questions about the viability of the One Laptop One Child (OLPC) program as a solution to 3rd world education.

Ascade in Croatia Deal

Ascade, a vendor of Billing, Routing and Quality solutions for the Interconnect market today announced an extended co-operation with T-Hrvatski Telekom, the leading telecommunication carrier of Croatia, for deployment of Carrier Cockpit(TM) Quality Management Solutions.

Hrvatski Telekom has already in live operation the Routing & Trading part of the Carrier Cockpit(TM) Suite. The extended co-operation enables T-Hrvatski Telekom to include advanced and pro-active quality measurements as an integrated part of the daily decisions around buying, routing, pricing and selling of international voice minutes.

"Delivering expected quality levels is of great importance for us for all our customer segments. We take pride in serving our demanding retail customers as well as our customers on the wholesale market with reliable and consistent high quality services. At the same time we embrace the trend for possibilities around an increased number of suppliers and number of daily re-routes to reduce the cost level - as long as we can guarantee the quality delivered", says Ljubinka Loncaric, Head of International Voice.

Ascade's Test Calling Solution (TCS) is a powerful system adding value for commercial routing and trading departments, technical network departments as well as for internal and external help desks. It enables a full range of advanced test call capabilities, and can validate the quality of routing schemas with minimum effort and time.

The CLI Verification Service enables pro-active end-to-end testing of CLI-delivery all the way to the end subscriber covering close to 200 mobile networks in more than 50 countries all over the world. This unique distributed end-subscriber Global Test Network (GTN(TM)) for mobile services is developed and managed by Ascade and is constantly built out in close dialogue with Ascade's existing CLI customers.

"With the TCS system and CLI verification Service from Ascade we have developed our ability to work with pro-active quality measurements on both existing suppliers as well as on prospect suppliers not yet implemented in the technical routing. This is of great importance for our daily operations and not least for the planning for our peak summer months where traffic patterns change rapidly according to the Holiday season," Ljubinka Loncaric concludes.

"We are pleased to add yet another TCS and CLI customer, the 11th world-wide since the beginning of last year and the fourth in Europe during the last quarter 2007 alone. The demand from leading International Carriers and Mobile Operators is very high and Ascade is well positioned with both stand alone solutions as well as integrated solutions with our world-leading Carrier Cockpit(TM) suite," says Henrik Anderberg, CEO of Ascade.
