TraceSecurity, a leading provider of SaaS security compliance solutions, announced today the expansion of two of their executives' roles as a result of the continued heavy growth in multiple industries. Chief Technology Officer, Jim Stickley, will be adding the title of Vice President of Strategy & Solutions. Chief Financial Officer, Paul McCown, will be taking on the responsibilities of Chief Operating Officer. The new titles and responsibilities for Stickley and McCown are a result of plans to increase renewals and up-selling to the existing client base.
Since 2003, Jim Stickley has consistently taken on responsibilities outside of his Chief Technology Officer (CTO) position including serving as the Vice President of Engineering and as the corporate media spokesperson. In his new role as CTO and Vice President of Strategy & Solutions, Stickley will be responsible for expanding the company's solutions portfolio, leading thought leadership initiatives and establishing product strategies.
Paul McCown has time and again proven his financial management skills both at TraceSecurity and in his roles at previous companies including Equifax and APPRO Systems. As president and CFO of APPRO Systems, McCown expanded the company's revenue from $11 million with a $7 million loss in 2001 to $27 million in revenue an $8 million in profit in 2005. McCown's additional duties as CFO and Chief Operating Officer will include overseeing the company's day-to-day operating activities of the renewals team and the delivery organization.
"TraceSecurity has experienced tremendous growth over the past several years and one of the main reasons for that progress is our talented team of executives that have a cornucopia of experience in their respective fields," said CEO Peter Stewart. "With our company's phenomenal growth, Jim and Paul have stepped into their expanded roles to ensure the new strategies we've put in place are executed properly. Both have been instrumental in TraceSecurity's continued success and are excited that they will help lead TraceSecurity's continued expansion well into the future."
