SECNAP(R) Network Security chief technology officer, Michael Scheidell, has been named a finalist in TechInsights' EE Times Annual Creativity in Electronics (ACE) Awards. The ACE Awards celebrate creators of technology who demonstrate leadership and innovation in the global industry. Winners of the 2009 ACE Awards will be announced during the Embedded Systems Conference in San Jose, Calif. on March 31, 2009.
Scheidell was nominated in the Innovator of the Year category for ongoing development of innovative technology solutions that meet and anticipate the security needs of business. Since founding SECNAP in 2001, his impressive results include patent-pending intrusion detection and prevention technology and award-winning email security/anti-spam solutions.
